Helen: Seattle, Washington; For 14 years, I worked for a non-profit, Powerful Schools, and both developed and directed a program called Powerful Arts. I hired artists in the visual and performing arts to design residencies in collaboration with classroom teachers. Since 2005, I have taught as adjunct faculty for Antioch’s School of Education in my area of expertise– integrated arts instruction- to preservice teachers. To advance my teaching skills, I am taking a series of courses toward a certification degree - eLearning for Educators. I'm intrigued with the potential for emerging technology tools to influence how we teach, grow and learn.
